Registering as a Customer
To start placing orders with us, click on the home page link directly under the helpline number and complete and send the registration form. Upon receiving the form, we will email you your username and initial password which will get you up and running online, on average within 2 working days.
If you are an existing Windhorse customer, you do not need to fill in the online form. Please contact Customer Service to set up your online account and we will send your username and initial password by email.
As a web customer, you can trade with us either as a credit account holder or on a pro forma basis. New customers begin on a pro forma account for the first three orders placed and received. After this, you can apply for a 30 day credit account with us should you choose. Please contact Customer Service to receive an application form. For pro forma customers, we have an online payment facility which accepts most credit and debit cards.
Placing Orders through the Website
Once you place your order, we usually process and send out your delivery within 4 working days. If you have selected a future delivery date, we deliver your order on your specified delivery date. When you first log in and begin an order, you will be guided through the order process by the website screens. You can save the order at any stage and return to it at a later time. We will not process your order until you reload and complete it either by submitting your payment transaction (pro forma account customers) or by finalising your order (credit account customers).
You should always receive a confirmation screen with a note of your web order number, a six digit number preceded by the letter "W". Please keep a note of this number for reference. If you don´t receive this confirmation, please contact Customer Service at the first opportunity.
Payment Options
Customers with a pro forma account can pay online for their orders. Credit account customers have their order payments factored by HSBC Bank on our behalf. Payments should be made direct to HSBC quoting your reference number. Your HSBC reference number will be sent to you when we open your credit account.
Discounts
We offer a standard discount of 5% when you order twice or more of the minimum sale quantity of any line item that is not already discounted.

Minimum Order Levels and Carriage Charges
Depending on whether you are a UK, Eire or other overseas customer, minimum order levels and carriage charges will vary accordingly - see the section that applies to you below. For deliveries outside of the UK you can choose to pay in either Sterling or Euros.
Mainland UK Customers
We have a minimum order requirement of £200 and if the net total of your order is £300 or more we will not charge you for carriage. See table below.
